Our approach to meat & poultry facilities is to insure that we have a complete understanding of the project objectives and challenges that are facing our client. Once defined, we will establish a structure that will manage the multiple ongoing interdependent projects/activities (Design-Build, Process, Packaging, Warehouse, Controls, Millwright, Regulatory, Training, Commissioning, etc.) as a single initiative that will achieve the overall business goal of your meat & poultry programs.

Projects include processing plants, distribution centers, warehouses and low-temperature structures. Our geographical scope of work spans the Western Hemisphere, including the Caribbean, Central America and Canada.

The Food & Beverage Team is built around a unique core of individuals with hands on process, manufacturing and design-build experience, a team that understands your meat & poultry facilities "Inside & Out".

Haskell has been an active member in the American Meat Institutes Sanitary Facility Design Task Force and the development of the 11 facility Design Principals. The task force was made up of some of the most innovative processors and architectural and engineering firms in the U.S. to develop the principles and underlying criteria, which represent the best thinking on reducing food safety hazards through sanitary design. Haskell is the first design-build firm to employ the principals at the new Land O’ Frost facility in Kentucky.
