Within its new general aviation/fixed-base operations (FBO) and headquarters building, Jet Aviation desired to accommodate both the needs of its clients and create a new image for its role in the world of aviation.  This state-of-the-art facility encloses service areas; separate passenger and pilot lounges; and business offices within shapes that interpret notions of technology, structure and flight.

A glass and steel object lobby interrupts the planar office bar and extends out a wing-like canopy for covered drop off. An enclosed external gallery connects the new lobby with an adjacent office building. From canopy through lobby and past the solid bar of offices, the arriving patron experiences a large volume of space filled with light and a variety of services.

The first and second floors offer a warm, friendly environment with a spacious lobby; customer lounge and service counter; car rental counter; pilots lounge and snooze area: and a break room, among others.

A second-level exercise spa offers a view through the two-story space out over the active runways. The curves of wings, skeletal frames beneath metal and glass, vibrant conical shapes and the point of the knifing canopy in space; these convey images of a dynamic company making its mark on the world while serving its clients locally.

The project also includes a new 40,000 s.f. service hangar and five acres of ramp area.
